Great photos. Glad you had a relaxing ride.

Really great pictures like PaulF said! Watch out, Stig! You have many of those single track roads all over your country, don't you? Must be really great with large farm machinery! Love your bike. Got one just like it!

They can be tricky, but keeping your speed down is the key. Generally, cars and bikes driven/ridden by decent respectful folk can pass each other without pulling in.
One of the more 'exciting' single trackers is Bealach-na-ba, or the Pass of the Cattle (Cattle Pass), where they used to drive the the Highland Cows over the hill to market. There are cars, buses, delivery van drivers (i.e. lunatics) and these days, more and more campervans driven by senile pensioners. Oh and deranged sports bike riders going at 140mph and lycra clad cyclists climbing the hill at 2mph.
Ah well.

:)That is what happens when you live in such a wonderful area.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures lovin' it.

Beautiful, makes me think of some places high in Colorado.
-
Beautiful country you live in Snorvey. The lay out of the road with the red car looks like it would make an excellent road course, like maybe part of the Isle of Mann. I envy you.

Absolutely gorgeous country, Snorvey! Thanks for taking us all vicariously on a beautiful Sunday ride!

James May and The Boys been there yet?

Nice but what are the conditions of the road? Looks kinda rough in the pic with the red car.

Top Gear / The Grand Tour has been to Scotland a few times, but never that far west as far as far as I recall .
The most memorable vist has to be the A93 road (a wonderful bike route btw), not far south of me.

The conditions are kinda rough in the early days of spring after the winter ice has done it's worst, but they soon fix it up. It's certainly not a smooth California track though.

That looked like great fun and in a beautiful car. I'm pretty sure that is the car Ferrari built to compete with the new Ford GT40 in road racing. Time has not yet shown how well they've done. Ford and Ferrari have gone at it for many years. Auto racing has brought us many innovations and safety features over the years. Since the dawn of man, they have sought to be faster than everyone else and auto racing, since the late 18 hundreds has personified that effort. I had the pleasure of driving the Memphis Motor Sports NASCAR track, a 3/4 mile oval with 11 degrees, at near 130 mph. Took a few laps to push it that far. A thrill I'll never forget. Racing is in my blood, but I could never afford to do much with it. I did some dirt tracking in the 60's, but that is as far as I got. Thank you for the video. cheers
