Title: Agility 125 2008 front light not working
Post by: Dex10 on July 11, 2017, 10:50:02 AM
Hi. Newbie here. The front light on scooter was only high beam. Got a replacement bulb. The same specs as the one I took out. (12v 35/35 from Halfords. UK). A bit of fiddling it worked. Less than a week later, now it doesn't. The only thing that works is the passing switch. I have checked the fuses. Cleaned the contacts. Still nothing. Any help gratefully received.

The headlight 'passing' switch is part of the headlight high/low beam selector on my Kymco.

If your 'passing' switch is working it suggests you have a defective switch unit as 'passing' and high mean use the same wire.

Note: All manufacturers use the minimum size cable to save production costs. The cable often loses a lot of power between switch and light.
