Ok anyone following this post.... I change new belt, since I was going to open the variator I also change the rollers... With a22g... I read couple post up a guy change his stock to 22g sliders and he got what I been looking for as for performance.... So I was exited when I put my 22g rollers and took a test ride...i was disappointed to see no improvement... I made sure rollers were installed the right way..... Any advice? Please help

Well sliders and rollers are a bit different. The (22g) sliders will give you a higher RPM to accelerate
and a lower RPM at the top end for more top speed. A lighter roller will give you higher RPM's at all
speeds so slightly better acceleration and slightly lower top speed...

What performance improvement were you looking for?

I need lower RPM at top speed right now iget about 65@7500rpm(right at redline).... stock rollers are 20g  put 22g with no change..... May be I need 26g to get same performance as the 22g sliders?

Well heavier should lower the revs. Did you weigh the stock ones to make sure they were 20?

yeah that was my 1st tough and they all are 20g.... sencond i double check the rollers were installed the right way and they are....all fluids are good just stump... at 22g i should had seen at least a little improvement.. but im getting same performance as my stock rollers and im wondering if i order 24g i migh not get what im looking for and if i order 26g or it could be too heavy anything that i might be missing???

Hmm strange. I added epoxy to my rollers on my Yager and noticed a difference. They only added
0.6 - 0.7g to the stock value and it changed by 500 rpm so would expect your "fixed RPM" to go up
by around 1000 RPM.

Did you disassemble the rear pulley at all? The reason I ask is that one time I reassembled my rear
pulley and the collar didn't bottom and so it was like a stiffer spring back there which equals lighter
rollers...

i didnt take it a part... just the required taken off to put new belt... i did blow compress air to get all the dust off...  would a dirty front pull pulley cause my problem??

No dirt would let the belt slip a little at first until it cleaned itself off. If there were any washers
in the variator and they were put in the wrong place or if the new rollers were a different diameter
you would see a difference. The new belt should give you a little too. Did you buy the OEM belt?

No variator has ok only 6 pieces was put back corrwctly torque was to specs, but i'm wondering if its overtorque, I order the right side rollers but I think I should double check if in fact its the right size im as stump,

just put in 22gram dr pulley siders and its a diff bike between 30- 50 it feels like its elec,  no clanking very quiet and smooth prob dropped the tach at top speed by 700 - 1000 rpms also last trip in northern wi got 75 mpg 2 up.   only have 800 miles on bike so I didn't replace anything else
also did sliders on my wifes yager and same thing.    they both lost a little takeoff speed but well worth it
