Distance ?
« on: May 23, 2011, 06:35:36 PM »
Hi,

I own a 2006 agility 125 for the last two months. I only use it in urban areas and with 1 full fuel tank I get a distance of 120Km before the fuel gauge needle touches the red area. My question is: If I go on a motorway and keep a constant speed of around 90km/h, how many Kms will I cover before I need to refuel? I'm a 51kgs rider ....by the way  :)

You should be able to reach at least 180km riding around 80km/h, but at 90 I suspect the fuel
consumption is much worse. I've swaped to lighter roller weights and the fuel consumption increased
significantly.

However, the fuel gauge is horrible, you can ride over 20km in the red doing 90km/h for sure!
Try refueling after doing exactly 100km then do the math.

The tank is 5l, I get around 3l/100km tops, usually around 3,4l/100km.

The other method would be to carry some extra fuel with you and run it dry, that's the only way
to find out you full range.

It's a pitty the fuel tank is so small.

My absolute maximum was 3,4l, now I can't get it below that.

I averaged 3,1 - 3,3l, now it's up to 3,8l.
