I hope this is ok to do here, Westgate mall right next to Cardinals Stadium is having Bike Night every Thursday night from 5-9pm until the end of November. I was there last week and they had a good 200 bikes there. The only problem I saw was, NOT ONE SCOOTER!!! What the hell? I will be riding my GT to bike night on November 5th if anyone local wants to meet somewhere and ride in together. I would love to get a group of scoots together and represent.
They have tents set up selling stuff and a live band. It was a good time last Thursday so hit me up if you would like to do this.

People GT 300i / Top case rattle!
« on: October 07, 2015, 11:53:09 AM »
Wondering if anyone has solved the top case rattle issue on there GT? Both of my GT's have had the problem with the top case cover rattling like crazy when I stop at a light. I tried a couple things to get it to stop to no avail. If anyone has solved this please let me know how and what you did in detail if possible.

General Discussion / Valet parking your scooter.
« on: July 20, 2015, 10:06:52 AM »
I was at a casino here in Phoenix over the weekend and I almost drove home to get my scoot so I could valet park my bike just to see there reaction. I would love to know if anyone has tried to valet park there scooter anywhere? If so, please tell me where and what the reaction was from the valet? I am dying to do this.

People GT 300i / Finally got some pics of my new GT!
« on: June 24, 2015, 07:14:31 AM »
Finally got some pics of my new GT up in Flagstaff a few weeks ago. It was a great time riding up there. The weather was perfect and riding through the beautiful area was amazing. The shot of my bike next to the big custom bikes is on the world famous "Whiskey Row" in old town Prescott. It's Harley heaven there so my little scoot kinda stuck out but I don't care. I really had a great time.
I should have some more pics of my trip and other things soon.

I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out why scooter manufacturers design scooter seats the way they do. Almost every seat I have sat on has been extremely uncomfortable. It doesn't seem to matter who builds the bike either. This has to be intentional. Now, I have factored in the fact that we Americans are bigger and heavier but I just don't think anyone no matter what size would be comfortable on these seats.
I can throw out ideas of why they do this like, they don't want anyone to doze off while riding so they make the seat a nightmare to sit on. But that sounds a bit ridiculous. I would love to hear everyone's ideas on this. Chime in and tell me what you think.

General Discussion / Insurance settlement help!
« on: June 03, 2015, 01:47:04 AM »
I am about to send over the paperwork and Dr. Notes to the other guys insurance company so I can finally get my settlement and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of thing? I of course am a working stiff so I can't really afford to go to an attorney and I would love some advice from anyone who has either been through this or may have experience with these kinds of things. Any input would be MUCH appreciated!

I read somewhere where some riders are flashing there brights on and off when they come up to an intersection if there's anyone waiting to turn left. I was wondering if anyone does this and how it has worked out for them? My only thought is, would someone think you are signaling them to go ahead and turn instead of just making sure they see you? I have been looking into any safe riding tips and this was one of them. Any input would be much appreciated.

General Discussion / ITS HERE!!!
« on: May 30, 2015, 12:29:20 AM »
Black is much better than gold!! The GT looks fantastic in black! I picked it up from the shipping dock this afternoon and rode it home. This one seems to be a bit smoother than my last GT. I am going to put the mirror extenders on and the front wind screen and tighten up everything I can tonight and trailer it up north tomorrow. I am getting stoked about riding this thing up there. I will post some pics of the new bike from this weekend when I get a chance. Wish me luck!

People GT 300i / Breakin in my new GT?
« on: May 25, 2015, 10:02:57 PM »
I have been looking around the forum for threads on how to break in my new GT and I really didn't find much. A search finds me engine and breaking but no engine breakin so I figured I would just ask. Any advice on the best way to break in my new bike when I get it? I kinda tried the "ride it like you stole it" break in last time and I was having the problem with overheating so I'm not sure if I'm a fan of that. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

General Discussion / Heinens Motorsports
« on: May 19, 2015, 01:40:25 AM »
Has anyone done business with Heinen Motorsports in Minnesota before? Just thought I would ask since I'm buying my scoot from them. The deal has not been made yet. I was trying to get the payment there and have had some problems so I thought I would take the opportunity to ask about them. Any info would be much appreciated.

I was going to order some mirror extensions for my new GT but I can't remember if I need 8mm or 10mm. Anyone?

Thanks, mscmkr

People GT 300i / Need your help really quick, gold or black?
« on: May 08, 2015, 06:54:26 PM »
Could be buying another GT today or tomorrow and just wanted everyone's input. They have gold and black available and I just wanted to know what everyone would pick. $3199 is an absolute steal for one of these and I just can't pass it up.

General Discussion / If you had to buy a scooter again?
« on: April 21, 2015, 09:45:38 AM »
If you had to buy a scooter again would you guys buy the same one or would you buy something else? Would you buy a different brand bike? Or maybe just a different model? Any info here would be much appreciated! I am very much in love with the People GT 300i, but I would love some input on any other bikes I should check out before any decisions are made. Throw out any suggestions on bikes you have either seen or heard of and I will try my best to check them out and maybe even give them a test ride? I will write some reviews on the ones I got to see in person?

Have a great week and ride safe, mscmkr

General Discussion / Getting back on after a crash.
« on: April 12, 2015, 11:02:33 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about how to get back to riding again after an accident? I only got the chance to ride my bike for a little over a year when I had my wreck. I miss it like crazy and have been thinking about riding a great deal lately. My problem is, i would really rather not go thigh that again if possible. And every time I think about riding I get flash backs of my wonderful road rash and smashed knees.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks everybody and ride safe, mscmkr

General Discussion / Cops pulling over 50cc scoots.
« on: October 19, 2014, 05:28:54 AM »
Coming home from work I watched a cop sitting on the side of the road waving in 50cc scoots. There was more than one and they were not together. They looked very happy so I'm thinking he may have been giving them tickets for impeding the flow of traffic. I have been seeing more of them going down a larger main street where I drive to and from work. I guess someone called and complained to the police.
