Hello all...I'm brand new to the forum.  I just brought home a new Like 50 (pic attached) after spending a year on a Genuine Buddy 170i.  I absolutely loved the Buddy but hated paying for parking in downtown Denver so I've decide to go a bit smaller.  I've really enjoyed reading posts about MOD's for the 50.  So far I have just had the dealer derestrict the variator and I'm going to see what top end speed she hits after break-in before deciding the next steps.  Great forum - I'm not very technical so the technical posts have been great to learn from.  Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!

How's the new scooter? I will be ready to order mine in a week or 2.  How fast does it go and did you get it redestricted? Wish you luck with it and have fun.

I'm seeing about 30 mph on the flats with just the variator derestricted. Hoping to get another 5-10 mph as it breaks in. Surprisingly the speedo matched my GPS speed perfectly. Loving it so far!
