Hi,
I'm English, but living on Greek islands.

I'm English too, but stuck in wet old Blighty!  I envy you the dry weather as I well recall blatting around Greek islands on hired scooters & bikes when I was in my 20's.  Funny how now I can't recall what I had for dinner last night...

The one Stig linked to is the type I bought.  If you're handy, I dare say you could fabricate your own?  Some on here have done that.

You got me wondering Stig so I checked to see where the wife's new (to her) Range Rover Evoque was made.  Turns out less than 100 miles from us at the Halewood Plant, Liverpool, United Kingdom: Makes the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque.

Thanks for the chuckle Stig!

Any sequel may have to wait, it's raining cats & dogs here today and I only just washed the scooter!

OK, update on my last post just to let you know how things turned out.  I didn't need to use the fuel can, yay!  Stopped for the Kodak moment about half a mile from the petrol station and the top picture records the 190.9 trip so by the time I rolled onto the forecourt it achieved over 191 miles without running out.  Dare I go for 200?...

This second photo shows the curious flicker rate that the dash has and which shows so often on YouTube road tests.  It's invisible to the naked eye, but cameras almost always show it.

PS Getting the hang of this picture posting lark eh Stig?  Thanks for the tutorial.

Another thing you don't need is when you're riding in sunshine (OK rare occurrence here in the UK) then ride into shade and spot the low fuel lamp flashing!  Wonders to self, "how long has that been on?"  Checks trip to see 182 miles - I normally fill up around 165-170  :o  Then paranoid low speed ride home to conserve fuel and pick up the fuel can before further, vicar-like, ride to the petrol station to fill up.  Life's little dramas eh?

Well that was my day yesterday, how was yours?

Is it a key with fob attached?
Fob battery quits - put key in and turn it?!
Stig

No key, just the remote control gizmo, like the wife’s new Landy!

Not tried them in the wet yet Stig, but one thing I have noticed is that, compared to the OEM CSTs, the steering is now noticeably slower.  It doesn't tip into bends quite so quickly, but TBH that suits my riding style better, I prefer to sweep in and out - I'll leave the nip n tuck to the young 'uns.  Grip so far is certainly up there with the benchmark Michelin City Grip 2s.

One advantage of keyless ignition I guess Stig, it's now always in my jeans' pocket!  (Must check to see if my Shad box will snap locked - 99% of the time mine is unlocked!)

I know!  I do appreciate the fact that I can get my tyres fitted on my own drive.

Finally got around to matching the front to the rear yesterday when my mobile tyre fitter came to instal the new Anlas Winter Grip 2.  Front & Rear now match and the scooter handles like it's on rails!  £66 for the tyre and £30 for fitting which I thought very fair.

I think it looks the semi-off road part?

You can see why it’s such a tourist honey trap. Sorry to say I missed it on my one trip to SF.
