Technical | How To / Cheap Tachometer Help and Info Please

I installed a cheap tach on my Super 8 2t 50 and not sure if my readings are correct. Shows idol around 900rpms. 3500rpms range cruising at 35mph and 5200rpms max on big downhill at 48mph gps max speed.
not sure if I have it set correct. I can set tach to read 1 pulse per fire or 2 pulse per fire.
So I'm not sure if my max rpm is 5200 or 10,400 rpms.

General Discussion / Anybody Taking Their Scoot Out Of Town For Thanksgiving?

I was wondering if anybody else is going to ride or trailer their scooter out of town with them this year. I might take my Super 8 with me and ride around Charlotte while I'm there. I cleaned out my trailer and bought an e-book ( Thanksgiving Planner ) to get ready for turkey day. Looks like it should be sunny and 65 degrees.

It is a motorcycle grip control helper. I ride my Super 8 at or near WOT all the time and I wounded if something like this would be easier on the wrist and hand grip? They are cheap but I just was wanting to know if anyone has used something like this.

Not sure if this is the correct place to put this. This was one of the only scooter related games I could find. Not bad and completely free for iPad, iPod, iPhone peoples. Plenty of free car games but they don't give us scooter guys much to work with.

Technical | How To / Stuck Variator Nut - Help Please

Can't get the 17mm nut loose. Left liquid wrench on it overnight. Used an air then an electric impact wrench while holding the var still with tool. later heated the nut with a torch. Still no luck. Cracked off one of the two holes that you put the var holding tool in. Not sure what to do next. Any tips?

People 250 / Where Does This Hose Attach? (Thanks - Solved)

Not sure where the final drive breather hose connects to. The hose is still on the gear box but the other end is just flapping in the breeze.
(Fixed- The nozzle was hidden out of site behind the shock. Just found it and reattached. Thanks.)

What does the small lower crimped off pipe do for my scoot exhaust? I have a Kymco Super 8 50 2t. Not sure, just want to know.
