Agility 125 / Cheap Agility 125 parts?
« on: March 20, 2016, 10:59:54 PM »
Looking to get a couple parts cheap for my 2007 Agility 125. In particular the rear clutch and a new belt. I'd like to get them from the same place but cannot find a place that has both in stock.

As for the belt there is so much conflicting information on the size of it. The one on it doesn't state size, only part number.

The issue I am trying to correct is a grabby feeling when starting out with a sudden grab just after getting on the throttle. I am also having what I think is the clutch not returning fully when I decelerate and that is causing the engine to bog and die.

Not really sure I need both parts, maybe just the belt. Anyone have a good source for the belt? What about the clutch?

Excellent. I will take a look at those things when I am in there. Thank you for the information.

Agility 125 / Clutch Not Disengaging
« on: October 14, 2015, 08:30:53 PM »
Been having running issues with the scooter lately and trying to get them sorted out. It has about 17k km on it and seems to run well at speed.

The issue has been that it wants to stall coming in to a stop, or right away when on the accelerator but I noticed something else today unrelated to that.

While at a stop I could feel a bumping sensation like the scooter wanted to move forward in short weak pulses, just like if you let out a manual clutch for a split second on a motorcycle.

So I want to open up the clutch cover wondering if it is dirty and also inspect it. What are the usual culprits for a clutch that doesn't fully disengage on one of these so I know what to look for?

Thanks.

Not well.

I ended up taking the carb off and cleaning it and the idle jet was clogged. Cleaned it out and put it all back together.

With some tinkering I got it running.

Now, with it warmed up it will run fine but seems like it wants to stall coming to a stop but doesn't. When I accelerated it right away feels like it will stall, and does 1 out of 10 times. Re-fires immediately and if I go it is fine.

So that tells me I am close. I am around 2 turns now and not sure if I am lean or rich but I am thinking a tad too rich.

Yeah, it is under the yellow rubber nipple looking thing on the left side of the carb towards the front. It says not to touch it, but sometimes you need to.

OK. Feel like an idiot. I was looking at the 50cc manual, not the 125. Once I looked at the right one I realized the screw was under the yellow cover and found it.

Was only turned out 1.75 turns. Adjusted it to 3.25 out and will see how things go.

I have read about adjusting it and think I need to on my scoot, but for the life I of I cannot find it.

I have the manual and looked at the picture but when I look at the scoot on the side of the carb I don't see it.

Can anyone with an 08 Agility 125 help me out and give a good picture of how to find it? Is there a cover over it? If so how do I remove it?

I would be very grateful for some help.

Well, still no luck after the winter. There are times when it will fire right up. Now more often than not it will not fire. It will crank until the battery is dead, jump starting it will crank forever then fire and not want to run or stall once or twice then run fine.

I replace the auto bystarter in it as well, but still acting up.

At this point I am disappointed that I cannot find the issue. The ground connection for the engine seems fine it if is where I think it is. Does anyone have good pictures of where the various ground connections are?

I am suspecting a loose connection and need to get a detailed look. This morning while riding in the dark I noticed a very infrequent flicker of the headlight but it didn't seem to coincide with a bump in the road.

Will be checking all the wires shortly to look for a loose connection.

I ended up ordering a combo of eBay after reading your response. Will take two weeks to get here but no worries.

This morning I started it up and it fired right away. I could hear a slight miss at idle while it ran. After about 30 seconds it stalled out on it's own. I fired it again.

For the price of these two parts I don't see an issue replacing them as a trial. If that isn't it I will tinker over the coming winter to get it running right.

My 2007 125 is giving me trouble.

It was running fine all summer then about three weeks ago wouldn't start one morning. It was a cooler morning (40F) and at the time I jump started it and it fired up on the second try. I presumed I had flooded it.

A week ago it was cool again and it wouldn't fire. I cranked multiple times for five minutes until the battery died. Tried to jump start it and nothing. Left it sit until evening, put a new plug into it and tried again. After tapping on the CDI it fired. After that it fired fine for a week.

Today it wouldn't start at work again. Got jumped and cranked for 10 seconds and it fired and died, cranked again and it fired up. Rode home and it seemed to be fine.

Battery tests fine and charging system is working. When this happens I can smell fuel so I don't think it is a fuel issue.

So before I go buying parts, does anyone have suggestions?

I was thinking new CDI. The part number on mine is a Suitai D-411 which I don't know if it AC or DC. I was thinking they aren't expensive so I would pick up one, and maybe the coil too.

I was thinking of picking up these parts:
CDI - http://www.motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/product_info/products_id/25233
Coil - http://www.motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/product_info/products_id/511

Thoughts?

I had checked it and disconnected the line from it, cranked it, and a good stream of fuel came out. Not a trickle.

I live in W Michigan. Not sure if the fuel is known to be bad, just overpriced.

My Agility 125, 7300km is having an issue.

Starts fine when the tank is full, and runs great. However once it gets below 1/2 a tank it has a hard time starting, just cranks. Eventually it will start however it will die when I brake to stop.

Filling with gas fixes the problem however it returns again as the tank gets low.

Any ideas on the problem?
