People 150 Parts Question
« on: September 02, 2020, 06:29:37 AM »
Hi all,

What does it mean when, while searching for parts for the Kymco People 150, we are confronted with two choices in the drop down menus:

1) BA30AA    and..

2) BA30AD

Does anyone happen to know what the heck this is and why there are two choices? Thanks!

There is a silvery data plate, usually left side of centerstand that has which one your bike is.

I get this a lot when searching for parts for my Ninja 300...there are about 4 sub-model numbers...but it's really irrelevant. Those numbers may apply only to a certain color scheme or decal package. All the mechanical bits are identical.

You can open both drop downs and look at the parts schematics under both and I'll bet that most every part is identical. Maybe one has a rear disc and the other has a rear drum...or something like that, but overall they are the same.

It's the Model Code used by the factory. Usually denotes the year. When ordering parts, i suggest that you have your VIN handy. Dealers can use it to bring up the exact microfiche for your bike.
