Super 9 / GT300i (or similar) Travels

I have not done any traveling on my gt300i. In fact, I figured it would be my around town bike and my Triumph Explorer would continue to be my long distance traveler. But in the couple months I've owned the the 300i I have learned enough about its capabilities to figure out that if you wanted to take a trip this bike could do the job.

So, here's my question...How far have you gone on your 300i (or similar)? Pictures?

General Discussion / Tire Replacement??

I bought a 2012 People GT300i with less than 600 miles. Should I consider tire replacement due to age? A local scooter dealer who wanted to sell me one of his 2009's with original tires kinda laughed and said that tire replacement is not the same with scooters as it is with motorcycles so no need for new tires on the bike he wanted to sell me. Might be a different story if I were to show up looking for maintenance on a bike I bought somewhere else, though. What do you think?

General Discussion / Motorcycle Guy Looking at a Used GT300i

Been doing the typical Internet research. Only scooter I ever owned was a BMW C650GT, so nothing in the less than 400# range which is the size I am looking for as a second bike to my Triumph Tiger Explorer. I think the 300i fits (also considering a BV350).

Specific bike I have my eye on is a very low mileage 2013. Question is, should a non-mechanical guy consider one of these if there are no reliable dealers around?
