Scooterville
« on: May 20, 2015, 09:33:34 PM »
Beware if you order from scooterville.  they will take your money and not deliver.  Not only that if you try to communicate with them, they will ignore you!
I tried to order a windshield for my GTI300, and they haven't delivered and, won't give me a reason why.
I'm sure if you are on the incroud everything goes fine, if not, oh well!

scooterville minesota.  I didn't know there was more than. Not only did they nick my card,  I called and they said they would get back to me. They never did , s I sent them two e-mails which they ignored.  In the last e-mail I told them if I didn't hear from them by Friday 5-22 I would turn it over to my credit card company.
I would rather be hated than ignored which I was they are doing.

I got all hot to get a wind screen for wife's GTI300 and found a link on this forum for Scooterville MN. Read a guys blog about the Giving caving at road speed and to get the Biondi  which was way easier to install only to find it had been discontinued! Lost interest after that. I think you are on the right track Burly but hustle before they charge your card.

The problem is that they already did, which usually means it is shipping.
I filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company, and, at least they replied and said they are pursuing the situation.

I hate companies that do this crap. I ordered some vintage honda OEM parts from some guys in NY, same sh**. Charged my card right away, two weeks later nothing. Emailed them asking if the order will ship soon or for some sort of confirmation they even got the order. Nothing. Emailed again telling them I am going to do a chargeback with my bank. A week later I got the parts LOL. Had to do a similar thing with SPI.

I did a paypal charge back With SPI a month or two ago.

The thing is; these small outfits dont actually have the parts, they order them from someplace only after you order from them and probably profit via a discount they get and the cost difference of what you pay them and what their supplier charges them.

They immediately charge your credit card because they have to actually buy the part and dont want to get stuck with the part themselves.
