scooter motors seem to blow
« on: May 19, 2015, 02:52:18 AM »
The Myroad 700 has about 60 hp and the suzuki r6 600 has about 30 more hp. Why do scooter motors suck at hp and has anyone ever tried to put a sport bike motor in a scooter?

Soooo..... no? Hmm maybe i need to start a scooter company. It'll be the first to offer sport scooters. Finally giving people the option to buy a sport scooter. And the price will make sense. 700cc scooter is 10 grand, 700cc motorcycle is thousands less and has more hp and performance parts options.

Got enough power to scare the sh** out of most everyone and the suspention to handle it.
There is very, very little market for sport scooters. It's a nitch market at best.

I don't think first of all: they would sell in the USA. Secondly, the MSRP of a scooter designed to have a 100hp engine would be very expensive.

There we go. Now just clean it up with good panels and gauges and we got something that's truly mental.
