Looks like it has been. I think someone plugged a bot into it. Not sure what can be done? People really do have way to much time on there hands.

Won't happen to me syndrome! To many ridders seem to be afflicted with it.

Congrats on your find. You stole that thing. I researched buddy's before I bought my Like 200i. Great reviews and found nothing but good things about Genuine. I almost bought one until I finally went and sat on one. I'm 6ft and 278lbs and I had that "watermelon sitting on a peanut shell" thing going on. Didn't think that would be the bike for me so ended up buying my Like.
Enjoy your new scoot and ride safe, mscmkr

People GT 300i / Re: love the scoot - hate the seat
« on: December 09, 2015, 09:52:24 AM »
I have been riding my new GT a bit more lately and for some reason the seat is not that bad now. It has about 950 miles on it. The one on my gold GT was pretty painful. I could go maybe 40 minutes and that was it. My butt couldn't take anymore. I can go longer on my new GT and my butt isn't to bad. Not sure why but it is more comfortable. I was planning on having the seat done on my new bike but I think I'm going to wait a while now.

Hope you enjoy your GT, mscmkr

It looks to me like she was looking to her right when she pulled out. I don't think she saw the bus at all with her full face helmet. I agree with Stig on this. My Nolan has a pretty big field of vision but there are still things I miss due to the helmet blocking the side of my eye. I'm not a big fan of what her companion did after her. He just pulled right out. He had no idea if the bus was going to start off again or if it was going to stay there.
I have never been a fan of lane splitting. Whenever I drive out to L.A. I hate driving on the freeways because of it. The bikes FLY by inches from my door and scare the hell out of me. This to me is not safe. I can see lane splitting if it is actually stop and go, but not at speeds over about 30mph. One flick of the hand and you could easily hit one of these bikes as they go by. And the way it startles drivers I could see that happening very easily.

Ride safe everyone, mscmkr

When a dealer is ripping off the general public they need to be outed period! The dealer has made the conscious choice to be a disreputable business owner, therefore, they are the ones excepting the consequences. If they don't like the reputation they have made for themselves they should stop being a bunch of thieves. It's that simple.
I am very glad you disclosed the name of this dealer and the person at Kymco USA. We should have each other's back and help each other in situations like this. If we don't, with dealers like this, who will?

I hope things work out with your GT. I love mine and it would be a shame if you don't get to enjoy yours. Ride safe, mscmkr.

I hope this is ok to do here, Westgate mall right next to Cardinals Stadium is having Bike Night every Thursday night from 5-9pm until the end of November. I was there last week and they had a good 200 bikes there. The only problem I saw was, NOT ONE SCOOTER!!! What the hell? I will be riding my GT to bike night on November 5th if anyone local wants to meet somewhere and ride in together. I would love to get a group of scoots together and represent.
They have tents set up selling stuff and a live band. It was a good time last Thursday so hit me up if you would like to do this.

Ride safe everyone, mscmkr

I bought my new GT 300 from them in May and it was only $400 shipping to Phoenix Az. They set up shipping for me so I didn't have to do anything. Worked out nice.

People GT 300i / Top case rattle!
« on: October 07, 2015, 11:53:09 AM »
Wondering if anyone has solved the top case rattle issue on there GT? Both of my GT's have had the problem with the top case cover rattling like crazy when I stop at a light. I tried a couple things to get it to stop to no avail. If anyone has solved this please let me know how and what you did in detail if possible.

Ride safe, mscmkr

I had a Like before I bought my GT and I am so glad I made the switch. I did like the Like but it just did not have the horses I wanted. Also, the GT rides so much better with the 16 inch wheels. That poor little Like bout beat me to death!
Once you have your GT you will never look back. It is such a great ride! Let's is know what happens.

Good luck and ride safe, mscmkr

What it means is, take the leap of faith and buy the bike! The small things wrong with mine are nothing to me. Like I said, I can buff them out and there gone. If it would have shown up with big things wrong then I would have dealt with Hienens and had them make it right. To me, saving $2000 is WELL worth the risk of having it shipped.
This is my second GT. I loved the first one so much I bought another one. It's fast and smooth and an absolute blast to ride. It has plenty of power and it gets pretty descent gas mileage. I love riding it so much I was out on it today in 117 degree heat.
You won't regret getting a GT it's a great bike! IMHO it's one of the best scoots on the market. And yes, 16 inch wheels make such a HUGE difference!
    Good luck, mscmkr
