Title: K-Pipe 125 Chain and Sprockets
Post by: lilzip24 on June 21, 2017, 01:29:42 PM
For those of you who added a tooth to the front sprocket, where did you purchase your new chain and sprocket from? E-bay seems to be all over the place

If you have just a few miles on the bike, you may not need to replace the chain and rear sprocket...going up 1 tooth on the front...usually just let out the adjusters a bit.

Usually yes you are correct, but in the other K-Pipe thread a couple of the guys stated they needed a longer chain

Here's a cheap sprocket on ebay that will work HERE (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Parts-Unlimited-Front-Sprocket-428-Honda-XL100S-XR100-XR100R-15T/182424134800?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D41376%26meid%3Deda1aeb15670420d9c8447fe0714762f%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D182424134800). The chain does have to be 108 links. In ebay, just search "428 108 chain" that should do it. Plenty of cheap ones too.
