I have a question, do you think the Super 8 150 would benefit from a main jet needle adjustment? Like under the carburetor cap?
Thanks in advance. Oh and would it void warranty

It does not have an adjustable needle, it would not make any difference really. I have had to shim the needle with very thin .5mm washers to raise the needle only AFTER doing modifications (exhaust intake cam etc). However I do think you may benefit from upping the actual main jet one or two sizes larger and adjusting the mixture to the ideal setting. These bikes all come lean for emissions reasons.

😕 dang! I really want to upgrade my jets but I am my mechanically inclined and I'm sure that would void warranty right?
-
No it shouldn't and it would take s pretty keen mechanic to even realize you changed them. Just step up one size on the main, if it has a #112 go to a #115 and see if its any faster. You want to leave the idle jet at #35 tho. Also if you haven't already, you should remove all the emissions crap it'll make the bike much happier!

😳 oooh, was emissions crap? And if I do remove it I have to up my jet right
-
The emissions stuff run of engine vacuum, and put gas and fumes back into the intake. Usually you don't need to change jetting to take it off. There are two black cylindrical canisters under the seat bucket with tubes hooked up to them, you need to take those out and block off ALL of the vacuum line and larger tubes with bolts or rubber plugs.

Nice, I'll give it a try
