Does anyone know where to get a head stud kit for our engine? Im getting tired of taking the chance of stripping the block.

I bought 2 from them. It comes standard w/ some of the BBk's they sell so just call/email for the stud kits. If you do use them the engine MUST be removed to get the cylinder on/off. The head does install w/ the engine installed

To be able to access the engine easier, I pull up to a drop off spot on my back porch, disconnect the carb joint from the manifold, remove the lower shock mount, then let it lower down the side of the drop off. Works like a charm, I do this when I want to change cylinders. Head stud kit is awesome, easy installs now.

That's a cool tip. I have blocks on the floor that I strap the bike to that does almost the same. I just pull the engine every time I work on it anyway. It's a lot easier to work on the bench that sitting on the ground.
