People GT 300i / Re: Kickstand
« on: January 30, 2017, 11:29:48 PM »
Its just stiff and seems to get stuck midway. This scooter is garaged and well maintained so I dont thinks it from lack of maintence. I havent picked up the scooter yet due to weather, just a observation when we went to look at it and bought. I will try to lube it and work on it, before replacing it. This scooter is for m wife so I need this to be functional for her. You have 2 scooters? Good for you.

Just bought a 2012 People GT300 a member of the forum. Super clean and very well maintained scooter. It will be my wifes after she takes a course to pursue her license. Looks like I will be riding it from time to time . Has anybody found a different kickstand for this model. It may need to be worked at to make it smoother but was wondering if any body changed theirs.

Thanks for the info and pictures from the show. We thought the Burgman 400 was heavy for her also. We liked the Burgman 200 before we started looking at Kymco's . We like the Grand Vista but want to check out the People Gt300. Ride safro

She will not be on the freeway but would not want anything smaller than a 200cc. We are going to keep looking for a newer Grand Vista and would like to check out the People GT300. Its winter no rush. We were going to attend the Motorcycle Show in NYC but Kymco is not their so we are not.
Thanks for your concerns and input. Ride Safe
Merry Christmas and Happy Hollidays

Hello folks about 3 weeks ago I was on here feeling you out about the Xciting 250 as were going to look at one for my wife. We finaly got to check it out and it was way to tall for her. We need her feet to hit the ground. We have looked at some other models and we like the Grand Vista 250, but finding one in good shape is a tough task. We don't mind some scratches but broken parts and dry tires with cracks are a no. We have come to the conclusion that she likes that type of scooter with the open front . We will continue to look for the Grand Vista along with the People GT300i , People GT200i and GT250 S. i look here every day and on the computer daily looking. We really like the Kymco and could even possibly look for a new left over. Ride Safe everyone. Wish us luck.

Hello every one I am  a new member to the Kymco Forums. My name is Jim and my wifes name is Sandy. We do not own a Kymco yet but this Sunday we are looking at a 2006 Kymco Xciting 250 with 5800 miles on it. They claim it was just serviced and in very good condition with minor scratches from the previous owner. Can any one tell me what to look for good or bad? This wil be for my wife, taking a course in the Spring , but I would like to get her something now so we could go out on it from time to time till then. Plus if she sees it every day she will keep the interest in getting her license. I personally ride a 2007 Hond Goldwing with a Roadsmith Trike Kit. I am on other forums and it is alway a good place for advice from others experiences. Thanks in advance. Ride Safe
