Kymco News / Re: KYMCO Extended Warranty
« on: August 04, 2019, 03:11:00 AM »
Say you get a new chevy with a 3yr 36k mi factory warranty from the dealer on day 1 when car is new. On same day you buy a 5yr extended warranty when car is new. Your only actually getting 2 extended years of warranty if you read the extended warranty details because it's from date of purchase. You need to buy the extended warranty near when the factory warranty ends. Most folks get oakey doked by this. Only buy a factory extended warranty ever. That means the company who builds the vehicle has their name on the warranty and they own it and stand behind it.

Wash on delicate, spin on low then air dry in the dryer for 10 min. Then hang dry , in front of a fan works.

Read the owner's manual. Then do what it say's and have receipt'ts  to show proof. After that do what you think is right.

Yea my new to me 07 zooki 400 has a trip a, trip b anr regular odo. You can do all kinds of math with it and still solve all math equations. It's like trying to program an old vcr. Finally after pushing buttons I figured out how to 0 out the trip A so I can use it as a gas guage by mileage per tank.

I always wear a helmet, open face or full face. Depends on how hot it is. Wear leather gloves with extra leather patches on the knuckles other wear spots, Velcro strapped. I wear leather high top hiking boots from wallyworld. I have an armored jacket and pants but only wear those when it's 40/50ish outside.

I'm glad your improving Forbes, things are looking up for you compared to weeks ago. Your outlook seems to be more optimistic. That can help in your healing too. There's a thread on ADVrider site called faceplant. Some inspirational stories on there. Some worse, some not so much, some are no longer with us. You might want to give it a look, maybe it can help. I'll say a prayer for your recovery Sir, may God the Father bless you in all you do!

Well my Kawi 250 is long gone to a new owner now. I wanted something with more power/cc's. Bought a nice used 07 DRZ400 and I'm in love, only 4k on the clock. Thing is a beast, went from 18hp to 32hp and you know those ponies are there with the twist of the throttle. Just puts a smile on my face, no regrets!

Boo your young yet at 64. What size wheels do you have on your scoot? If they're 10/12in then riding/cornering is way different from a m/c with 18/21in wheels. You need to go to an empty parking lot and do a lot of figure 8's. I mean spend half a day at least so you can get used to the geometry of the scoot. You'll get better and your confidence will return. Just be mindful of the differences between a m/c and a scooter. They are different and you need to ride them accordingly.

I sold my Kymco Movie 150 to buy a Kawasaki 250 m/c and no regrets. I miss that movie all hell out, it was perfect for city driving for me. As I get older a step through scoot will be on my bucket list.
