Thank you for your response....respectfully - I tend to listen more to the riding advice of those riders who have not "crashed many times".
But I am no expert on riding or crashes.

LOL...good point, I meant to convey his view if something happens the glass from the phone, keys or pen may cause additional harm to the body

my dentist is avid rider (BMW R1200RS), he rides fast and hard 150 mph + and crashed many times. He always says never ride with anythings in your pockets because if you fall the injuries will be greater...

Sold my GT300i because I was riding like a hooligan while grinning like an idiot! Thought that if I kept riding that way my luck would run out someday. So last summer I bought myself a new 2016 Vespa GTS 300 Super ABS/ASR and sold the Kymco. The Vespa is a great little bike, tons of cool factor and definitely a lot fun to ride. While it has less power it can top out at 80 MPH but doesn't get there as quickly as the GT300i does (Vespa is 278cc with 21HP). As a result I have slowed down a lot, keeps my wife happy, but I sure do miss the power/acceleration of the GT300i and having a do anything go anywhere scooter...

Thank boo, I plan to stick around and buy another Kymco some day in the future. I miss my GT300I already but I was riding way too fast and feared my luck would run out sooner or later. My new 2016 Vespa GTS300 with abs and traction control is great and much, much less powerful than the GT300I, Looking forward to the next generation GT300i!!
