Kymco Venox won’t start

Start help!

Hey everyone, I’m having some issues and need some advice/ideas. So recently I bough back my first bike (a kymco venox 250) and when I bought it, it was turning over but not starting. Took it home, and it was turning over and then just stopped completely. No clicking, no turning, no chugging, no sound at all. Whacked the starter and it made a buzzing sound. Ordered a new starter, got it installed, and there’s still no sounds or responses at all. Battery is good, fuses are good, everything should be fine but nothing is happening! Please help!
Edit: should also note the kickstand has to be up for the bike to start, but the light on the dash says that the stand is up so that’s not it either.

Check the starter selonoid under right side cover. Check for voltage coming into starter and voltage coming out when you push the start button. If you dont have voltage coming out when pushing the start button check smaller wire for voltage when pushing start then the problem is in the switch
