Spring on the oil pump broke
« on: February 27, 2014, 09:38:29 AM »
As the headline says so is spring on the oil pump, where gas wire is mounted broken.

Is it possible to replace this spring or do I have to replace the entire oil pump?

See the picture.

If it is kymco usa, is there a difference between usa and European models? Expect an oil pump is the same on both?

I'll buy a new oil pump now.
So I was wondering, do I bleed the system after I put this in?
If so, how is this done?

..Ice-Tray, do you have a copy of a Service Manual for a 2t scoot?

..In them, it is explained, in detail and with pics on the suggested procedure to replace the oil pump...

..it's fairly easy to do, but there's a lot involved, and you gotta really clean that work area before you even begin the job...
