Can anyone help me with why there are two fuses coming off the battery one in the positive line that is a quick blow type and one in the negative line that is a slow blow type. My knowledge of electricity says you only ned one and it is usually in the positive line. Also I should add that the electric start does not work, I can kick start the bike and it runs well.

The fuse on the negative wire is usually placed to protect the wire and not the device it is attached to.

Thanks!

Treat yourself to a new battery, before your regulator rectifier fries trying to charge a battery that's clearly not working
