Hi mate. Kinda looks like Big Bend, TX. Nice scoot too. Had to look up your profile when you said you were in winter. Have a buddy from Australia on a Goldwing forum that rides an older vintage Honda GL 1200 and also rides an equally older Honda CB 250. He's also a rail road engineer, named Eric from Adelaide

Hey there guys. I'll get some coastal pics for you soon.   Hey Dan ... I'm in Queensland , Adelaide is a couple of thousand k's down the road (and that's going the "quick way " inland ) in South Australia. I reckon she'd be a bit nippy down there right now ol mate.

G'day there Mr Paul ... err, is it okay if I just call you Paul ? We're a bit of a casual lot down here in the colonies ol mate  ;). Anyway, to answer your question .. had a bit of a coastal run on Black Beauty this morning, temp about 23c here ... not too shabby for a winters day hey. Bearing in mind I'm up in Queensland though, and we do get it pretty easy up here I do have to admit. Last weekend , it was up around 28c. Here's a couple of coastal shots from todays ride that I'd promised ...

Hey there TroutBum ... Nahh, I didn't scare them off mate ... I just have to pull over now and again so they can catch up  ;D.
I do have to admit, I'm totally stoked with Black Beauty though. She's got plenty enough power, a really comfortable ride, and the motor is just purring now that she's been run in properly and had her first service. I've been keeping note of my fuel consumption, and I seem to be averaging about 23 klms per litre which isn't too bad. And I do really have to say mate, Yamaha really does put out a quality bit of kit. The finish on her is bloody excellent.
Ride safe my friend.
Regards, Hairy Bob  8).
