2007 is great.  It sounds like a good price.  Be ready to spend some money on the carburetor.  It has a 6 year old diaphram and float bowls.  Super for fuel about an ounce of seafoam or stabil every other fill up.

Is she orange?

I have the real manly & cool orange X500, (2007). Lift seat, pop off plastic carb cover, remove screws to carb top, and there is the slide with the diaphram attached. 15 minute job at most. Part cost $30.00 some dollars if I remember correct? If diaphram lip will not stay down in re-sessed groove, apply a small amount of grease to lip/groove and it will stay in place so you can put cap/cover back on. Real easy. I have never had an issue with the floats in the bowl? :-*

I forgot. Even if you have a dealer do the diaphram job it should be no more than a hundred bucks as all they could charge you is a half hour of labor, and the part is 30 some bucks. Go for it before it's sold. And with the low miles it may not need the diaphram for a wile? I would replace it though, as it will develope a small tear sooner or latter. If all of a sudden the bike seems to have less power, and or it takes more throttle to keep the speed at 55 or so, then the diaphram is developing a small tear, and it will only get worse, and if you keep riding it like that you could fry the engine as it would be running very lean because the tear is letting more air through. :-*
