Every thread I look at ends with an error message.  The only way to reply is to quote a previous post.

Yep, but at least it works some on Chrome. Still no joy on Microsoft Edge.

The set up and color are different. It looks like they changed internet hosts or something. What is the "Simple Machines Forum" logo in the upper right corner?

like Crossbolt, I use the 'reply' button up top to reply. At the very bottom I also get a bar with an error message but it doesn't interfere with anything.

I guess I have a reply button on the top as well.  The other forums I'm on have it on the bottom or at the top of the last post in a thread so I got confused.  I still have the error message on the bottom but that's no big deal.

I am having no problem, using my laptop, that has Windows 8.1,  my workstation in my office is Windows 7, and cannot load the website, it wants to save as if I were downloading

I use Chrome on both, but not much longer, I'm gonna go back to using Firefox
