Title: Yager GT 200i air filter
Post by: Yager200i on February 19, 2011, 06:08:50 AM
Ok, I took the air filter assembly apart today, just so I could see what filter element was in there.

The only thing printed on the filter element is "Kymco KKC3".

Cross-referencing this with the Dink 200i parts list gives a part number of 1721A-KKC3-900. The picture in the parts list looks like the filter element in the scooter.

This is exactly the same part number that the Kymco Grandvista 250, the Grand Dink 125, and the Dink 125 uses.

I found the following vendors selling them:
KymcoPartsOnline.com $19.80
MoxieScooters.com $17.99

Sorry for dragging this back but Yager, thanks again for your efforts. I think 20 bucks US is a little steep for such a scrawny filter. SOMEWHERE on this forum someone figured out how to glue some of that green filter foam onto the filter mounting plastic but I cannot find the thread. Got any ideas?

I just ordered 2 air filters from my local dealer and they were $18.00 each. Considering you can get about 10,000 miles from one that doesn't seem that bad. Of course I would be interested in knowing how to reuse the plastic and make my own from now on.

Uni filter makes a foam that you can cut to fit (BF-1) and weather stripping adhesive to glue together.  The foam runs about $14.00 and you may get two filters from it.
