Although " the site is back - it may go down again. Needs a full upgrade. But will bring it back - while trying to minimize downtime."

I thanked him for his efforts on our behalf!

Have we already had some cosmetic changes?  For example anyone else now have a mint green banner at the top of the page?

Thanks Hawk and no, mine's now gone back to pale blue like yours.  May have been a glitch on my laptop?

Ha ha!

Recently noticed we’ve had a Taco Bell open near us (7 miles away) so that’s on the “must try” list. Haven’t been in a TBell since my last trip to the US in 2004!

Aww Hawk, now you've got me worried.  I had fond memories of the restaurant.  Have they gone downhill then?

They are indiv. franchises around here. My local one fired my son one time....I stayed away for years.
Two days ago after a very stressful time meeting with T-Mobile to change service on my new Galaxy....Daughter said "we need a reward for that!!...how 'bout the Bell?!"
I love their crispy tacos - had 4, saving one for evening dessert!
They were heavenly!

Stig

PS in 1967 I used to go to this place in So/California that sold you a white paper bag of 5 or 6 tacos , I forget which for a dollar.
I'd get a bag and sit with my guitar in the band shell and ....it was super!

Thanks for that review Stig. Open mind time I guess. I’ll let you guys know.

As an aside, we had home made nachos for a shared starter in a local pub last night and they were delicious!

And, sorry for taking this thread so off piste…

I stopped at one on a trip once, I told myself, never again, but then one opened up locally, so I went there to see what the fuss was about

While it's in the shop, tell him to get off his butt and fix the error messages at the bottom of the screen!  It's not rocket science, maybe 10 minutes of maintenance.  But it would hugely improve the "User Experience" as they say!
