Yes, there was no problem with the trailer. It's a 5X10 and I kinda like the snug fit on the sides.

I have Kurt's rear bumper and tree kickers installed on my 450i. ORBA builds and sends out quality accessories and Kurt is a gentleman to talk and deal with. I suspect that when the word gets around about his accessories and the quality of them, he may get a little busy. I know he is working on a new idea now but I'll let him announce that when he thinks the time is right. If you have a Kymco side by side ORBA has some cool parts for it.

So I have a prototype made and I put the three bigger self tapping screws in which screws into the frame and it was strong enough to hold me (220lbs)
I plan to get them finished and powder coated this week and will have pictures soon.

I received mine today, installed them in 15 minutes, and can't wait to run over something with them! Lol. These things are great looking and built like a tank. Quality product ! Thanks. ORBA!

Mine is the same way the rev limiter cuts in at 49mph according the the digital speedo in the machine, but it still feels like it has a lot of power left.  I have to pull the gps out of my boat and check the speed that way, that will give an accurate speed on that machine. At first it seemed to take awhile to get up to 45 from 30 but now that it seems to be broke in it gets up there rather quickly, in fact it climbs quick enough that when the rev limiter kicks in it is a surprise, feels like it wants to keep going.

Surely you have a smart phone! Download the free gps app. Now you can check the speed of anything you want at anytime. Have a great day.

Side By Side / Re: 450i Cab Enclosures and Lexan Windshields
« on: June 11, 2016, 08:22:13 PM »
Our lexan windshields start at $239.99 which is very competitive for the quality, plus you have a 5% discount on that price. I don't think you will find a split lexan windshield with dual vents priced better than our standard windshield.

$239.99 sounds reasonable but by looking at the pics I couldn't tell the difference in the lowest starting priced screen and the higher priced one. Also what is the approximate shipping fee to zip code 32205. Thank you.

I'd like to see a pic of what you have in mind. I like the idea of nerd bars!
Let me know when you get a prototype.
I am extremely happy with the rear bumper I purchased from you.

Took my dealer a couple of months to get my top. I used it without until it came in. Don't mis the enjoyment of this machine while waiting on a slow ship! Go get it and hop off the road--have fun!

I bought my 450i in Nov. 2015. I had shopped and looked at them all. This machine is a beast in the woods/mud and is everything I hoped for. I purchased mine with 4 years of factory warranty and still paid thousands less then the 570 Ranger. You won't go wrong with it unless you are really tall and portly. 😉

I ordered one of the rear bumpers for my 450i offered her. Good quality gear, easy install, and very sturdy. Made my buggy look " cool" too! Kurt shipped almost immediately and I'm very pleased .
Thanks for some good gear!

Side By Side / What oil for gearboxes

I've heard that the factory oil in the gearboxes isn't really very good. What are you mechanically minded owners changing it over to?

Thanks for that piece of information. Nothing like good first hand knowledge to make people understand.

Yep, mines in Florida but I've already made an appointment to get it fixed. If it can get water in it and freeze it can surely hold water and rust or get jammed up with dirt, rust, etc. I ain't playing with a bad throttle cable on ANY machine.

UTV, airshot. 500i to be specific.

Pull up hour meter by pushing right-hand (ADJ) button for two seconds to switch display of ODO, Trip, hour meter, clock in that sequence, I think.

Karl

Thanks for posting this. I ask my dealer how to get the hour meter to show and he told me it didn't have one! But now I know better!

Side By Side / Safety recall notice on 450i
« on: March 09, 2016, 01:38:28 AM »
I received a safety recall notice in the mail today on my 450i. It says that the throttle cable needs to be changed and re-routed because it can get water in it. They say it can freeze and then cause a run away throttle condition. They recommend not using the vehicle until it is taken to the dealer and repaired. I doubt it will freeze here in Florida anytime soon but I will get it repaired. Anybody else get this ?
