Pick your favorite color.

I use the red, easier to see in the overflow bottle.
Ran it hard through Kansas and Nebraska.
Temp didn't get above 78C.
Good stuff.

If you're a veteran Kymco still has the $200 rebate for scoots up to 250cc.
$500 for scoots over 250 cc.

This mounting plate loosened up on me  every 2 weeks. Finally solved the problem by adding 2 extra screws to the back plate to keep it from rotating.
Works great now.

I cut down some rubber furniture anti skid pads and glued them in with silicone adhesive.
Looks OK and no leaks.

Worst for me was a 12" piece of railroad track laying in the road.
Was doing about 60 exiting the highway, on a combination off-on ramp, attention focused on splitting the two vehicles merging onto the highway.
Never saw it. Loud bang followed by immediate rear tire deflation.
Got it stopped safely, and on closer inspection found a small ding in the front wheel, rear wheel bent and cracked.
Glad I didn't hit it full on with the front wheel.

62 to 64 mph at redline (8000) rpm for me. 72 mph at (9200) rpm.
My CELP will start flashing if I get close to redline.
Exceeding redline for a longer duration will start throwing overrev and cylinder temp codes.

Another harbor freight option.

I have them on my RV 250, and even though they are completely covered by the bodywork they are impressively loud.

Hope not Stig. Like having you around.

Yeah, I think I may shake my head more at the idiot 2 wheel drives I see around. Over the weekend my wife and I were on a ride on a road with a posted speed of 45 mph. Passing us in the on coming lane was a MC rider standing straight up on his riding pegs, fingers on his handle bar and throttle, and casually riding like that down the road. The road was straight and flat, but full of bumps, depressed manhole covers and occasional potholes. Things that jostle you fully if you're sitting down.

It's his life, but I hope he stays out of the gene pool.

Pretty normal for a dual sport rider.
Nice to get off the seat and let your equipment air out.

Go to the hardware store and buy some square drive drywall screws. Cut off the tip and screw into a large wire nut.

I contacted Valvoline Zerex Product Support, just to be sure that I hadn't gone astray in my research... and if what they say is true, it's very surprising to me... here's what they wrote:

"come factory filled with Dexcool" !!!!!!?????

Wow, if that's the case, then perhaps it's not all Dexcool (aka Deathcool) that experiences the sludging problems that caused such a huge lawsuit not too long ago.

Unless Dexcool now comes in a green color it wasn't in my scooter when I bought it.

The running lights on my Yager are very close to the headlight, making it seem like a single light.
I wanted some low wattage led lights with a different color contrast and found these.

Nice crisp white light, good contrast to the halogen headlight.
Not sure about the brightness in daytime, but they light up the road nicely at night.

The error code numbers are the same. The number of blinks is different.

Yager GT 200i / Resetting CELP error codes
« on: June 14, 2015, 09:28:25 PM »
Trying to track down a P0115 error code I found a lot of confusing methods to clear the codes.
The simplest way is to open the throttle fully, turn on the ignition, release the throttle after CELP light comes on
and let the trouble code lights cycle 5 times.
