So back in June at 11,053 miles the factory Maxxis rear tire on my MyRoad developed a bubble (beginning of tread separation) under the tread. Maxx is response after posting on Facebook said, sorry your out of warranty. Mind you the bike had only been on the road just over two years but because it sat in a crate the first two years before being prepped and sold I was SOL. Nice that they care so much about their crappy tires. So here I am at 13,020 miles on the freeway when I start feeling a wobble again. I pull over to find the front tire has a bubble and is starting to tread separate. 3,000 miles and 3 months (Sept) after the rear tire the front is doing the same thing. What POS tires these are, downright dangerous and potentially deadly. Maybe this is why they do not sell street bike tires here but regardless I will not buy Maxxis tires for my Jeep (had two sets of the Creepy Crawlers before) or ProComp tires now made by Maxxis (originally made by Cooper Tire in the US which I have had two sets on my truck). I would also urge Kymco to stop installing them at the factory even if they are made in Taiwan like the bike. I have since replaced them with the OE Bridgestone tires that Suzuki uses.

That lump is terrible! There are other negative traights of Maxxis tires: weather checking quickly AT THE DEALER! Rapid wear, quick cupping on front, uncomfortable groove/tar snake following, porous casings(leak air through casing) to name a few. ANY BRAND popular in the world better than Maxxis.

Not me....but a guy looking over my shoulder here on the "Group W Bench" asked, "How'd he get that 600 lb. bike into a grocery basket?!
(BTW: guys in my squad would get one of those - I'd just lance it and let it drain - those were "line-of-duty NO")

And the shopping cart wheel wobbled less than the Maxxis tire!

That's appalling and really unacceptable. I just can't reconcile what you've got here; which is clearly substandard and dangerous; with the Maxxis tyres  that I've run on and off for years on whatever I had with no issues.

Are they fitting lower-specced tyres to the new Kymco models? It just doesn't match what their aftermarket offering is capable of.

I'm disappointed. Have you thought about tweeting them some pictures? A bit of negative publicity can do a lot to change a mind.

Not germane....as usual - but have seen a video of a guy blasting down an interstate on a Burgman 400 ---- cruise control engaged --- while eating and drinking like he is at a diner. Not hands on the bars. No wobble.
