If you have Oil in the CVT you have a big problem. No, No oil goes in the CVT.

You can go to any local MC shop and get a HiFlo Filter #HF147 (This is the filter that is OEM Kymco). Or, at a Kymco dealer you can get a 1541A-LBA2-E00

A compression check would be a good starting point. Take a look at the spark plug to see how roasted it is

Northern California, I paid 4.39 (best price around) this morning but I'm not in a big urban area. At the local Pilot Truck Stop it's 5.09.
In urban areas like the SF Bay Area it's been over 5.00 for a week, approaching 6.00. I heard that in some parts of LA/So Cal it's over 7.00. Here we have the the highest state imposed taxes on fuel in the US I believe. Thanks Gov Newsom you Rat-Bastard.

The Kymco UXV 450 should be the same as the Arctic Cat Prowler 500. I found this through Partzilla.
I can't guarantee it will be correct but the AC Prowler 500 is basically a Kymco 450 below the cage and plastics.

For kaw, Kymco builds the KFX50 & 90 and the Brute Force 300 only

If you have a Die Grinder, A 90 degree model works best, you can buy an attachment to use an a velcro type abrasive pad that will zip off the gasket material easily. As always you must be careful not to hover in one spot to long as to gouge the aluminum. Works great on the stubborn gaskets
