Cross-referencing fuel injectors to use in a different bike...
« on: October 27, 2014, 06:34:00 PM »
Hi, all.

I've got a 2010 Kymco Yager GT 200i. That model bike's been discontinued. I was ordering a bunch of parts from KymcoPartsMonster.com today, and they informed me that part:
39301   39301-LEA6-900   HOLDER ASSY FUEL INJECTOR
is no longer manufactured for my scooter... so it's time to start hunting for a fuel injector from another bike that'll fit this one.

Anyone know of any, or have any experience with this "using parts from one bike on a different bike" thing?

B&L pointed out that # is for the hold down NOT the injector.

Kymco does NOT list the injector as a separate salable item. Therefore you have two choices... Either buy an entire throttle body, and keep yours as spare parts, OR pull out your injector, and get the manufactures part number stamped on it. It is almost 100% guaranteed to be a Bosch injector.
Order THAT part number from another source.

There IS a part number on your injector. Not one company makes an electronic injector w/o a part number screened/etched onto it.

If NONE of the tickles your fancy... Order any injector for any one cylinder 200cc MC. It will work. Your ECU controls the injector. Not the other way around.

Had to wait until I got home ....
 39300-LEA6-800, FUEL INJECTOR, $71.19
Read from the injector itself: " DEKA 10/ 070-21 "
Hope that helps....

That's the same number for my scooter (a 2010 Kymco Yager GT 200i).

39300   39300-LEA6-800   FUEL INJECTOR   71.19   1   71.19

I haven't looked at the injector itself to see what's printed on it, though.

Is your scooter still in production? Your scooter also has:
39301   39301-LHB2-C10   HOLDER ASSY. FUEL
which corresponds to the discontinued part:
39301   39301-LEA6-900   HOLDER ASSY FUEL INJECTOR
on my scooter.

Not exactly the same, but it might fit. Or the whole fuel injector swapped in might fit.

Take a look here to see pix of my LIKE200i injector - purchased a couple months ago.
I did have to re-use some of the bits (the clip that holds the holder and injector together if memory serves)
Sorry, seem to have deleted the other pictures of this whole shebang.

Yeah, that's the one. Thanks. Now I know where to get injector parts if I need them.
