Aftermarket Exhaust Modifications on your Like 200?
« on: November 10, 2014, 09:53:31 PM »
Hey guys,
Just curious if any of you have upgraded your exhaust.  That big hunk of metal reminds me of a tall boy beer!  It's gotta go!  Anyone have suggestions on upgrades/mods on the exhaust?  Any technical difficulties in doing so?  I wonder if aesthetically it makes the bike look cleaner or not?  Louder?  More Powa?

Any one that has any info to share, I appreciate it.
TIA

This is the only one I have seen available. It has the built in port for the oxy sensor needed for the fuel injection sampling. Don't know about performance increase claims though. You could check it out on E-bay at GPR exhausts.

Better shocks and better exhaust.....the subject comes up over and over with most scoots.
People pay big bucks for prettier shocks and exhausts....but never heard of any worthwhile improvements in either area on a 4 stroke.
You certainly can buy a louder pipe for the Like.....and then pretend you're going faster. Some do.
Most scooter exhausts are bulky looking things....but then so are a lot of the riders.
Tis part of the culture :-)
Do what I do, park it so you're looking at the pretty cvt side.
Went to school with a gal like that.....but that's another story....
I didn't say that out loud, did I?

I liked the analogy....it made me laugh pretty good.  I get it...I guess I'll keep that on the backburner, for now.

CrazyAnnie, Part of the problem for us American LIKE riders is that the Asians have all the cool after-market stuff so very available. They have lots to choose from. Even the Europeans have stuff that we can't get.
Well, scooters are a rarish hobby in the States - but a way of life in a lot of other countries. Can't blame them for that.
ABS on 125 scoots!!!
Amazing.
