Agility 50 / Re: Drive belt and variator roller advice
« on: April 19, 2020, 06:09:17 PM »
Yes you should install new rollers I don't know how much of a difference you'll see. I don't know about the belt haven't had to deal with that on my agility.

Agility 50 / Re: HELP PLEASE WITH MY 2012 KYMCO AGILITY 50
« on: June 10, 2019, 06:40:28 AM »
Sometimes it won't start and if it does it dies right away or I have to give it gas and then it stalls out. If it's running its bogging down .kinda sound like it wants to stall but doesnt till it stops at a red light. Sorry I'm just frustrated. I have to give it gas while trying to start it. Most of the time if i don't keep a small.amount of throttle it dies on me. Same thing at a red light I have to constantly start it after it stalls out or sputters out and give it gas.. I tapped on the top of the carb and it sputtered out.. But then ran fine for a little while. The mechanic said that the FLAP. INSIDE the carb was worn out? Is he blowing smoke or is this true? Thks guys
I would just replace the carburetor and keep the stock carb to rebuild later.

Agility 50 / Re: Best exhaust for 2005 kymco 50cc agility 4 t.
« on: June 05, 2019, 06:56:11 AM »
Hi friends i run a 2005 kimco agility 4t, unrestricted drive boss, unrestricted variator.  Think 8 grams  variator weights  its great on flat roads 70 kmh. Uphill slow. .. Exhaust was leaking. And bike was a bit faster. Mended it and back to 70 kmh. Can any of you please recommend a good exhaust pipe. Unrestricted and not loud.  And mine is a 50 cc.   Have used GPS many times to check. All help on exhaust welcome. Have ordered a j&j flow carb  . Also thank you phill
LeoVance or LeoVince are good exhaust but expensive as the cost of living nowadays and here is a link to some others but you have to know your model.

Hi everyone. I have brought a new unrestricted cdi from ebay new coil and new spark plug. All the orange ones. The bike will not start at all with the new orange race cdi. My original cdi is kymco made. And slightly larger.. Both cdi have the same. Plugs one has 4 connector. And  one 2 connector but on the 2 connector. My bike only uses one  connector. My scooter is kymco agility 50 4t. Unrestricted boss and up jet to 84.. Hits 70.kph. On level roads. Any help on cdi. Connect. Also 2005 model. 27k miles now.
They have about ten different model 50cc agility models, you should look on the scooter and find the exact model number for example mine is( KG10SA)

Here is a link to show you different models i think the number is located on the right side of the motor at the bottom.

That linked eBay listing says " Apparently will not work in the 2015 and newer versions."
Yes the reason he stated that is because i have 2015 model and i was having issues with my turn signals so i thought it was the cdi so i contacted the seller and stated what i was experiencing and he offered to send me a replacement and specify in the listing that it doesn't work for 2015 models & up, but the problem was not the CDI it was in fact a shortage in my lights where the previous owner had dropped it. Im sure the CDI box will work if it doesn't and you buy it you can send it back for a refund.

What CDI do you recommend? The wiring is non-standard for Kymco from what I've read.
Here's a link to the one that i purchased

I recently bought my first Scooter (Agility 2018) and I'm enjoying riding it. Now I'm looking at modifications for it, as anyone does.

Which modifications would you recommend in order from easiest to most challenging?

I'm thinking my first modification would be a new CDI module or a cold-air intake.
Not sure about year or if it makes a difference but swap out the CDI and make sure to install a unrestricted boss.

Downtown 300 / Re: Inflatable cushion for DT 300

Have any pics?
I got a copy-cat of that very expensive air cushion ($100+) for $65, shipping included, on ebay and I'm very happy with it. I am liking my DT much more now.

"Motorcycle Air Seat Cushion like brand names BUT durable 2x's thick Poly insert" is the ad wording.

Ditto Xsel777.
Not sure how the gearing is on those, but since you seem to have a handle on it I'm curious if you tried running a lighter weight with that to increase revs?
My thought would be you'd lose potential top end that the bike can't really get to in exchange for actual top end.
No but the aftermarket part I installed had 8 gram weights so I installed the 6.5 stock one back on..went smooth on my way to work but started slowing down on my way home so I'm guessing it's the crappy drive boss.

No I purchased a larger carburetor with upgraded jets but I took the aftermarket variator I installed off and inspected it and the problem was there inside the variator and on the boss. (Preventing the variator to function properly).Hard to explain it wasn't dirt it was almost like gum or something very hard to clean off. Also the aftermarket roller weights were 8 grams versus the 6.5 grams stock, so I cleaned the stock parts and reinstalled them all except the restricted boss with exceptional results.
Oakley Java, that is because you did not put a larger main jet in the carb. Being so lean you probably overheated it and either burned a valve or broke a ring. One of the restrictions is a very lean mixture....

Sounds like you could use a carb upgrade like a 150 carb.
