Where did you find the H4 LED bulb? I’d like to get the same one. Did you have to do any modifications to make it fit?

Yes idle speeds up to proper idle level when I take out the slack in cable by twisting throttle.

I’m getting slack in my throttle cable is it best to tighten at the twist grip or down at the carb? Because it’s loose, it’s affecting the low idle due to the slack. Once I turn the throttle and take out the slack it runs great. Hoping I can adjust rather than having to buy a new cable.

Ended up finding the Mechanic named Martin in Las Vegas. If anyone needs a Kymco savvy mechanic let me know. Just had him change the oil as well as change coolant to Kawasaki Aluma Cool.
Works great.

Thanks I guess my first question is regarding flush and fill of radiator. I know where the drain screw is but not where the air bleed screw is. I know you unscrew that while adding new coolant but can't find it. Saw a YouTube video on a 300 Kymco but not p250. I have heard about people not getting air bubbles out and having unit overheat.

Anyone know a good shop/mechanic that does service and repairs on Kymco's? I know there is no Kymco dealer here anymore. Used to use a scooter Mechanic named Martin who used to work in North Las Vegas but he has left the shop there.

Looking to get some regular maintenance done and when I call some of the shops here they say things like "yeah I guess we can do that"..  Doesn't give me much confidence having someone work on a scooter that I will be going 50 mph on.

Just installed the Grab On Grip Covers on my 2006 People 250. The correct size was the 4.25" grip cover that fits 1.25"-1.50" OD at least on my model. Did have to use some sharp scissors to cut a small amount off. Sprayed hairspray on the entire inside of the grip and slid them on. They fit perfectly. I bought them off Amazon through Longhorn Moto.

Crossbolt, thank you. Indeed, if you use a flat blade screwdriver and push down on the latch the light inside the underside of the seat goes out for charging. Just have to leave the seat ajar while charging and unlatch it with the key prior to closing the seat.

I too had a gas problem with my 2006 People 250 due to former owner leaving old gas with no stabilizer in it. What I have done since is buy ethanol free premium and also use the stabil during the winter. I see you are near Ames Iowa where there are several stations that sell ethanol free premium. Just go to pure-gas.org and you can find their locations. I would have to say mine runs better doing this. Just a thought anyway.

People 250 / Trickle Charging 2006 People 250

I recently purchased a People 250 and had a question about trickle charging. When I  pull up the seat to access the battery a light comes on inside the compartment. I can't seem to figure out how to turn it off. Since I would charge the battery with the seat up this light would stay on  causing a power draw. Any idea how to turn this compartment light off?
Thanks.
