« on: August 19, 2015, 12:47:58 AM »
I notice on my 50 cc  scoot that When using Gates belts I burn threw more. My scoot has 4,000 miles on it and have gone threw 3 belts the frist one lasted like up to the frist 3,000 then after that I went threw 2 more. I now have a power band belt on it to see if there is any dif. What do you guys think.is a power band belt better then gates.

Gates belts suck. Oem are the best by far. You should get 8-10k out of stock belt....

True that's what I have on it now. So far so good. The last belt even bent the face plate on the verator. So I had to replace that. I think bando belts give a little which helps.and the gates belts stay stiff and no room for play.
