Check to see if there is a cable going to the oil injector as well.  On my 50cc scoot, the throttle cable had a splitter that went to the oil pump.  If so, you'll want to disconnect that.

Then just carry a bottle of 2cycle oil with you.

so just take the cable loose mix the gas and try to start? no need to mess with the jets/

''when i flooded it by choking it with my hand it back fired.''

may be the mix is wrong. possibly disable the pre-mix system. I have been meaning to do that on my s9. I never felt comfortable with it.  :P

take the oil pump loose? good idea!!! im going to have to try that. just mix it myself and see if that gets her started!! now how do i do that? just unhook the hoses going to it and plug them?

you may be able to just hook up a normale gas filter and run it like that as long as the gas is being filtered befor it gets to the carb you should be all good.

i thought about this but its two lines coming off the carb. one to let the gas in and one behind the intake. i just orderded the part. i'll keep you all posted in case someone else has this problem

recently started having problems out of my peolpe 2t. she would idle fine but soon as you hit the gas she'd die out. after changing the plug and playing with the adjustment screw i asked around and was told to check gas lines... and the gas stops in this thing. i changed the filter in it and still nothing. im pretty sure this is my problem. anybody have an idea what this is called and where i can get one?

the carb seems to be working. i got a people 2t too. they look to have the same engine on them. i was gonna switch carbs to see if that did the trick. but the round cylinders for the throttle are different sizes. i just had the idea to take the entire piece off the throttle this morning. gonna do some more changing around and see. i burned up the starter also but a gy6 starter bolts right up!! and seems to have more torque. gonna go back out and try some more things. how can i check for compression without a gauge? i had already put my finger over the spark plug hole while turning the engine to see if it was getting gas in the cylinder and over the hole in muffler.............................................

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD SCHOOL PEOPLE? SHAKA............WORDSLINGER......ART........BATMAN............JUICE.......ZOMBIE!!!! HELP!!!!!
