Title: GPS Tracking Hardwired Installation
Post by: badziejPL on April 09, 2016, 08:22:12 PM
Hi,
I bought a GPS tracker, which came with cables for hardwire installation. I know how to connect the electrics. But I'd like to hide it under the covers. So here is my question. How to remove the low leg shield cover? I found the service book, but it's confusing. Do I really need to disassemble all these parts to get underneath this one cover? Or ther is a better way to hide power supply?

I want to place the tracker inside the front luggage box. And guide the cables through the indicator cap.

[edit]
I figured it out. I had to remove the right side panel (3 screws). Then i guided cable through the indicator cap straight to the battery under the floor.

Cheap tracker from ebay. Model TK102B - about 13$. And the charger for hardwire installation - about 6$. Installation went pretty easy. And the tracker is hidden in the front luggage box.
