GT general maintenence question
« on: May 26, 2013, 05:22:18 PM »
Question: How do you get to the brake reservoirs to fill or top them off without scratching plastic or doing damage?.
If you look up under the handle bar grips, you can see the sight glass on the reservoirs but, the reservoir is covered.
I know for most it will be a while before this is needed but, I like to keep clean high temp brake fluid in my bikes.
On my wifes Aprilia, the resevoirs are exposed and easy to fill.

You need to remove the handlebar cover on both sides. My mechanic says it's an easy job. You're a screwdriver away.

I see four screws.
Do the mirrors have to be removed?.
