I recently bought the scooter as a no start no Run. Did some research and decided to just change it all to be safe. I also checked continuity of all wires related to spark. Every thing seems fine. I replaced kill switch because part was missing. It has a new ignition switch also

So we really have two problems: 1. Original no-start and 2. New parts that may or may not be compatible. I saw you other post on AC or DC CDI's. I now realize how this discussion should have been started! That's the great thing about this forum is that the overwhelming attitude is the desire to help everyone and everyone learns something!

Do you still have the original CDI? How is it different from the replacement?

I do not have the original CDI but it was a big one like a DC fired CDI .  The one I have in there now is a DC fired CDI. The only issue I have with that one is it sits there and homes which makes me believe that it is no good .  That is why I was trying to find out if I should have an AC fired CDI or DC

Homes? You mean, hums? What about connectors and colors/numbers of wires? What happened to the original CDI?

Yes, the auto correct needs to go away! Wire marking is a special language. Solid colors are easy: green, black, yellow abbreviated grn, blk, yel and sometimes by manufacturers g, b and y. Colors with a stripe are usually blue w/ yellow or blu/yel and Kymco wiring diagrams show B/Y. All this just shows how specific you have to be to avoid confusion especially with old guys like me! I think I understand so let me see if I can find a wiring diagram....

I found a wiring diagram but not smart enough to put it on a post. You can find it with search "people 50 2 stroke wiring diagram." It will be the first of the images. We'll work from there...

The wiring diagram is Minarelli which is more sophisticated than Kymco. Further down that search is the complete service manual in pdf for the people 50 2 stroke. The wiring diagram on page 2-16 is hard to read but shows four wires to the CDI, not five.

I do have a total of four wires two wires in each connector the two prong connector I have blue and yellow and black and blue and the four pin connector I have green and a black and yellow.  I know the black and yellow wire leads back to the coil. They blue and yellow wire in the two prong connector leads to the ignition switch. The black and blue wire in the two prong connector I believe goes to the Killswitch

One of those wires goes to the pulsar, one to coil. I'm stopped there without the correct diagram. Does the diagram you have match what you see on the bike?

Yes the blue and yellow wire goes to the Pulser coil  that intern goes up to the CDI
