Super 8 / 8650 rpm at 45!?
« on: May 16, 2020, 12:50:16 AM »
Hello,
On my Super 8 2013, 50cc with original air box without restriction and main jet #88.
I recently installed a Tecnigas NextR exhaust and a Polini variator with 6.9G rollers who came with.
I saw the first owner installed the red torque spring.
My top speed with this configuration is 73 km/h on GPS (45mph) and digital rpm I installed, indicates 8650 rpm!

Is it too high?

The Tecnigas at this rpm it's a very noisy and the original engine scream a lot for 50cc, i would not damage the engine!

I want to buy Polini torque spring +15% and 7.5G rollers.

Is it a good choice and do you think i will lose performance

Thank's.

Ok it's not a CDI, it's a small box beside the regulator/rectifer!

What engineer at Kymco has to think about the front of the Super8 to change the bulbs of the headlight ??? >:(

I wanted to try installing LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs!
But I need to dismantle the whole body to the back to access the front bulbs ...

Why so complicated ??? ::)

hello everyone
I installed my exhaust tecnigas r and here is the sparkplug after a 30km ride.
The main jet is # 88 with original airbox without restriction and always in original 49cc motor.
Do you think my main jet is ok !?

Thank you!

Super 8 / My new exhaust!
« on: December 14, 2019, 04:02:08 PM »
Here is my 2011 Kymco Super 8 2T,

I removed all the restrictions, I bought a Tecnigas Next-R exhaust. I will install it in the spring because it is snowing here in Quebec!

If I keep the 49cc and the original air filter without restriction, what would be the # jet to start?

Super 8 / Re: Hi need your help, Super 8 2T from Montreal!
« on: November 22, 2019, 03:45:45 PM »
Thank you for the link, but I want to have the most performance with the least performance parts...
I will probably change the original variator for a Malossi or Polini, but the rest as original as possible!

I do not want to have an exhaust too noisy, because here the police do not tolerate!
That's why I want to keep the original exhaust as much as possible, unless there is a performance exhaust, with an unrestricted and original look !?

Thank's!
