First thing I'd want to know is why did it seize in the first place.  :-\

Hi,

I've fitted 3 x 150cc kits to various Kymco agility 125's. The first two had standard carbs and I found after a lot of experimenting that they ran best on the original jets! One was a 102 and the other a 104. Like you, i did some calculations but ended up as standard. They ran too rich, fouled the plug and ran rough at 3/4 throttle on 110 jets.
My latest 150cc is a fuel injected agility 125 and again it runs standard, as I cant change the mapping!
I found no increase in top speed but far more torque up hills  :)

I assume then it just bolts through the rear light plastic housing. Either the nut has come loose or the plastic has broken.

Hi Stig,

I've been chatting to Crossbolt for a couple of days on the subject. See tech forum.

General Discussion / Kymco Diagnostic Tool in the UK?
« on: August 29, 2019, 02:17:30 PM »
Got an issue with my Agillity 16 Plus - 125 (2017) The orange CELP is on all the time.
Has anyone in the UK got the Kymco Diagnostic tool I could borrow / hire?  :)

Stuart - in the East Midlands

Update:

After unpluging everything again the CELP light is still on permanently!
As I said, it starts and runs ok. I decided to risk going for a ride. First a short journey so i could push it home if required!  ;)
All was ok so i went a little further. In the end I rode for 23 mile and the scooter performed perfectly - but with the CELP light on all the time. Stopped and started it, but the orange light remains!  >:(

Hi,

Are the 'turn signal' lights on your scooter on the sides as individual units, or all part of the rear light?

Thanks Karl,

$200 is expensive. A little more info: disconnected the battery for an hour and made sure it was fully charged.
Turned the ignition on for over a minute and the CELP light just remained lit. no flashing!

Still no joy. Just cant work out why it was OK when i returned from a ride and 2 days later it has this fault on start up!!!!!!!

Hi Karl,

Thanks for the reply,
Checked again this morning and the CELP light just stays on (no flashing). It is always lit when you turn the ignition on, the fuel pump then runs for 7 or 8 seconds and stops. But the light normally goes out when the engine starts.
It just says in the owner manual that if the CELP light stays on, take it immediately to your dealer.  Fat lot of use they are in my experience!

Hi, this is my 4th Kymco, but my first with fuel injection. I got the scooter second hand at just over 2 years old with 3000 km on the clock.
I've given the scooter a full service and since covered around 400 km.
On last run out (2 days ago) all was fine and and returned home and put the scooter away in the garage.
Today, started the engine but the orange engine management light will not go out. I've unplugged/reconnected most of the electrical plug and the battery, but the light is still lit.
Start and runs OK, but don't trust it to go for a ride!
Any suggestions? or is there a 'plug in' diagnostic tool i could get?
My nearest dealer is 60 miles away. I'm in the UK.

Thanks

With a showroom like that, you're obviously not in the UK! Sorry but I cant help.  :(

The clock is powered from the main battery as part of the dash panel. Mine died, but a wiggle of the red wire feeding it and some twisting of the connectors to get a good connection it came back to life!  :)

WOW, fantastic look bike dealership & sunny weather at Christmas!
We don't have either in the UK. Scooter dealers tend to be small back street shops. There are one or two good motorbike dealers but nothing on that scale!  ;) 8)

You should get away with only taking the headlight panel off and you should be able to feed the new one through as you pull the old one out. Also remove the seat bucket as there is a clamp on top of the transmission above the variator.
