Technical | How To / Kymco Agility 16+ (City + 125cc)
« on: August 26, 2019, 02:55:09 PM »
Hi, this is my 4th Kymco, but my first with fuel injection. I got the scooter second hand at just over 2 years old with 3000 km on the clock.
I've given the scooter a full service and since covered around 400 km.
On last run out (2 days ago) all was fine and and returned home and put the scooter away in the garage.
Today, started the engine but the orange engine management light will not go out. I've unplugged/reconnected most of the electrical plug and the battery, but the light is still lit.
Start and runs OK, but don't trust it to go for a ride!
Any suggestions? or is there a 'plug in' diagnostic tool i could get?
My nearest dealer is 60 miles away. I'm in the UK.

Thanks

Agility 125 / Agility performance camshaft?
« on: August 16, 2018, 09:11:56 AM »
HI,
Is there a performance camshaft made for a Kymco? All the GY6 camshafts (Ali Express etc) dont fit a kymco as they are smaller diameter on the lobes, and thus the rocker arms are at max adjustment and i dont think it would last long before something broke!
I have got an A9 GY6 cam and rocker arm assembly but for the reasons above I wont fit it.

Is there anything in the USA?

Currently running a standard cam on a 150cc (bigbore from 125cc) on an agility city in the UK.

Agility 125 / Kymco City 125 rear bulb replacement?
« on: July 20, 2018, 08:47:09 PM »
I'm replacing the indicator bulbs on my city 125 (2014) for LED ones. I'm trying to remove the rear light lens to get to the bulbs. I've removed the 6 screws that hold the Lens but it's still tight. It may just be stuck to the seal but i don't want to force it if there is something else holding it.
Any ideas? ???

Technical | How To / Agility 125/150 Gear up kit
« on: February 14, 2018, 03:01:18 PM »
Has anyone ever fitted a Gear up kit to a Kymco. I believe the gears are slightly different to a Chinese GY6 as in shaft sizes.
Does anyone have any details or experience?
Must be someone in the US who knows!  ;)

Can anyone please tell me, is the Agility 125 2013 Euro3 model fuel injected or does it have a carburetor?

Thanks

As the title say, I'm very interested to hear from anyone who has actually fitted a big bore kit to an Agility 125.
I'm interested to know if the crankcases had to be machined out to accept the larger diameter barrel.
I've been told by a supplier in the UK that the standard kymco crankcase opening is 57mm only.

Many thanks.

General Discussion / It's all about CC's
« on: August 13, 2017, 10:51:17 AM »
HI,
I'm new to Kymco scooter after having various Italian jobs, 2 stokes and big bikes.
I have an Agility RS 125 in the UK. I'm looking at increasing the bore size to a 150cc or above. Am I correct in thinking that these bikes (and GY6 engines) in the US are standard at 150cc? If so, what are the size of the main & pilot jets in the carburetor? - currently 104 & 35 here.
If I go above 150cc do i need to up size the carb, air box and exhaust? Is there much power/torque increase?

Any advise would be very helpful.
Thanks.

Agility 125 / How big can I go?
« on: August 05, 2017, 10:04:28 AM »
H Guys,

I'm new to the forum and just got an Agility 125. I'm in the UK.
I have a leaking head gasket on the scooter and so I thinking of upgrading the bore size while I'm at it.
As I say, it's currently standard 125cc but my question is: How big can I go using the standard carb, airbox, inlet and exhaust?
150, 160, 180 are available here.
