Tech Pulley Flying Rollers II Review
« on: June 26, 2019, 01:43:42 AM »
Went with the Tech Pulley sliders. Seem to be very smooth and powerband. Top speed has stayed the same and midrange torque has increased. Take off alot smoother. 14gr
Day two so far. No complaints.
Check the pic where 2 of my Dr Pulleys had shifted which affected my takeoff. These tech pulleys are great so far with an anti-roll over flaps like wings.

Glad they're working for you. I've put Dr P sliders in a 163, 280 snd 400 cc scooters and never had them move from their intended position. By most accounts - they don't flip if properly installed
Really not hard to do - just hold the 2 parts of the pulley together while putting it on the shaft....don't move it about, put the outer parts on - tighten the nut!
Lots of happy riders using the Dr P's with good results.
If these new sliders are made from the same quality material - should work just as well.

I like that tab idea a lot. On my 500 the Dr pulleys flipped.
In fact they melted.
Which makes me think they were fake.
I got them from a guy in Europe somewhere, via this forum, if I recollect correctly.

Hey, we don't sell fake stuff here.
But, for members only - I have a few Rolex Date Clams (like the "Oyster" - only in platonium) to offer. Very reasonable. Comes with genuine rolled parchment, in velvet bow, from the Czech Republik.

Just a quick update: I've been running these for about 4 months now, I actually like the DR Pulleys better. The tech pulley rollers change the gear ratio so much on the low end and top end it feels like a whole different scoot. Have not lost too much on the top end but takes a long time to get there with high RPM. I will be reverting back to the 14g Dr Pulleys. Not saying that they're bad, just not my cup of coffee. I will be purchasing a whole new CVT after 9 years. Should bring back a little zipp to the scoot with new dr pulleys and new belt.
