Location of "Light Controller"

My headlights do not work on my 2007 People S200.  I confirmed the bulbs work by connecting them directly to 12V.  After a research, I believe I have the known "light controller" problem and would like to "bypass" it as recommended by others.  However, I don't know where this "light controller" is.  Where is the location of the "light controller" on the 2007 People S200?  Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum. The lighting control module is located behind the front panel, under the headlight. It's the thing circled in yellow in the picture. To remove the front panel you remove 6 screws that are facing the rider (3 to the right and 3 to the left of the glovebox area), 2 more behind the front tire and the little bolt that is hiding behind the plug at the lower front of the front panel. You remove the plug by slipping your finger up and behind it and popping it out, forward.

How many miles on your scoot? Color? How long have you owned it? We love pictures, here.

Big thanks!  Now I just have to find time to troubleshoot again.  I thought it was near the headlight, but looks like I needed to go further down.  I'll admit that I gave up after I couldn't remove those 6 screws facing the rider as they just kept on spinning.  Frustration just kicked in, so I gave up. Now I need to figure out how to remove those screws that just keep spinning.

Anyways, here's a pic of my silver 2007 which I got in December (about 6 months ago).  It only has about 6800 miles and I only drive every couple of weekends.

@rocky1, maybe below mentioned links shed some light into this box...😉
The second one is the most reasonable...

thanks for the links, Ruffus. Rocky - if your screws only spin and don't back out..when you try to tighten them do they also just spin? If they are truly stripped, could you grab them with needle nose pliers to try to pull out?
