Great video Stig, started to watch a few more as well.  On this one, notice the gps attachment on the Vespa (I think it is a hire scooter) and whilst I enjoy a lovely lady on a scooter the lack of safety gear made me cringe a bit with some of the riders.

Nice video Stig. I owned 5 scooters living Rome and I loved every minute driving around the city. Those cobblestones can be a little slick when wet, but other than that, it is an awesome city to ride around.

That's cool!
Would you have any photos of your scooters during your time in Rome?
I also enjoy watching walking tours of Paris and Barcelona to see all the scooters on the streets. Paris, in particular, has a zillion of them!

They are a work of art.
Hope to own one someday. (300 Super)
Problem is, the only Piaggio dealer in our area closed a few years back.

Stig, I wish I took some videos, but I didn't have a smart phone or GoPro back then....I was still poor.... But some of my favorite drives was going outside of the city of Rome to the Countryside. Places like Tivoli, Ostia, Rocca di Papa and Castelgondolfo. Beautiful scenery, old aqueducts, umbrella pines and very fresh air(Rome was a bit polluted). I believe you can rent scooters in Rome, so if you get out there, I would recommend buying a map and getting lost ;p.

"Umbrella pines"....I've seen these  amazing trees in photos and videos of Rome.
I was thinking they were trimmed to look like that. ...but thry actually grow that way?!
Thought even the darn Italian city workers/tree pruners were artists!!
Pretty cool.

Very popular over here and heaps of dealers but they are a bit pricey for me.   They are beautiful machines though, very well made and it is easy to see the quality in them.
