Title: variator torque value
Post by: superflydudebike on June 16, 2017, 02:49:36 PM
2005 zx 50, stock.  What is the variator nut torque value in ft pounds?  I'm replacing the belt.  Also, clutch nut torque value?  Thanks.

Fascinating post young man.  I looked it up in a manual.  25 to 29 foot pounds seems rather light. Go a bit higher to prevent nut from coming off?

2011  downtown 300i      on my scooter the torque is 93  N.M.  68 ft lb.  on the variator   and the clutch nut is
54 N.M. 40 ft. lb.s   by the book,   you will have to look what the convert numbers are in foot Lb.

and don't forget the lock tight blue
