Have a look at Amazon, there are lots of similar aftermarket products. Take one and adapt.

@devrongrimm welcome here!
First measures in this case should be:
-scoot on mainstand
-brakes pulled and released (stationary brake too)
-try to move rearwheel by hand
-rotates freely, YES/NO

-if NO your rear brakecylinder/disc or hand brake
needs to be revised

-if YES, take off all CVT covers (3) and check whether all moves there properly
-rear alu cover with inserted support bearing stucks sometimes and is hard to remove.

Yes, its been done.
 Take any aftermarket silencer which fits from lenght and widht, cut off this pipe which comes from cylinder and weld it on this aftermarket piece. Bolt it properly and deal done.

General Discussion / Re: Kymco 200i Petrol Pump failing
« on: May 08, 2024, 01:43:09 PM »
Hmmmh, sounds mystical..?
-pls take the pump out again and check whether it works on top of your fuel tank, not inside mounted
-if yes, pull on cables during running, maybe a further cable is faulty
-always start with testing/renew fuses
-try this with all your pumps

Agility 125 / Re: Bogs down at about 35 mph

-open fuel tap
-you might look into your carb whether all passages are clear
-check vacuum fuel pump and hoses for demage and functionality/tight fit
-Inspect this diaphragm in your carb for tiny holes in it
-take the airfilter out to see if clogged

@fneijts welcome here!
As Stig suggests pls give details of your scoot.

-are we talking about an in-fueltank pump?
-was the whole pump replaced or the motor only?
-bench testing requires a fully charged battery or workshop tester
-fuses are to be replaced
-cables to and fro pump checked for broken insulation?

@RyianKymco welcome here!
I would in such a case:
- METIN  box out
- leave the drive belt off
- take motorstethoscope or a long screwdriver
- listen at running motor where the noise comes from
Hard mechanical "flapping" or more hushed?
- could be a broken chainguide/ tensioner
- a faulty rotor
Please do a thorough checking and come back here for some more Qs. or feedback.
Maybe you could put this subject within XC 500 section.

Welcome here!
Famous spots are:
-LH motorside right before the CVT
-RH under scoots rear pannier close to RH shock st the frame upside down (take a mirror and lamp)

Technical | How To / Re: Iridium spark plug

Here in Italy we wouldn't think too much whether commercial or not, or allowed or not.
Any car or combi where it would fit in gets the wildcard.
Here in my vicinity every scooter dealer might pick you up with his van, though might cost you a nice dinner.

Xciting 500 / Re: Xciting 500i Tire(d) ANLAS road tested
« on: April 10, 2024, 02:58:30 PM »
@Neil, here you go....
Did a short roundtrip of approximately 120 Km on this new ANLAS tire, another swingarm, rim and brake disc.
Axle bearing was shot, thats why.
Brake disc blue, thats why. Guy drove with handbrake engaged.
New rim because it was cheaper rim and disc together.

Conditions: dry tarmac, speed 50 to 150 kmh, airtemp 22°C.
-smooth running despite knobby profile
-no wiggling (balanced by weights to zero)
-no difference in handling right now, new,  to my former MICHELIN CG 2
-didn't do an emergency brake, but behaves well
-I do not have ABS so I don't challenge brake situations
-in bends and curves smooth side changing
-roundabouts are fun to exit with some tilt and speed
- all in all I feel safe on this tire
- we'll see how long it lasts

General Discussion / Re: new tire fiasco
« on: April 09, 2024, 08:43:05 PM »
$$ 775,- is a proud bill for two times tires (brought ) bearings and additional demage.
Looks like the rim slipped off support/catch of this tire machine and caused the demage, sorry!

As CROSSBOLT says, here in Italia not likely to happen because I watch them, and they take it at the brake disc.
If drum brake, an inverted holder is applied.
