I didnt wanna lose any top speed so i decided to just change the clutch springs to 2000.  I left everything else stock.  The acceleration drastically improved and top speed stays at 62mph.

Check out ScooterDynasty.com
They have everything in stock.  I dont know how I missed it.  Keep me posted on the build.  Im curious to see if the lighter weights will make u lose top speed.  Im in the process of taking all the emissions stuff off.  I feel that motor has 70mph in it.

I have a Movie 150 and mine is doing the same thing.  Its so frustrating.  My scooter, once the auto choke turns off the idle goes from 3k rpm to 2k rpm.   Then it starts to sputter at idle and stall.  When i twist the throttle it bogs.  If I'm able to keep it running the WOT is fine and it will reach top speed.  I raised the idle to 3k and it seems fine but the clutch is almost ready to engage.  Has anyone else has this problem?

I bought a used Movie a month ago.  I love it...no complaints here.  I was told by a scooter mechanic that its restricted.  Removing the emission controls and there is possibly intake and exhaust spacers.  Getting rid of that junk should gain some more mph.

I just bought a movie 150 last week.  On flat road, I was able to max top speed at 61mph.  Downhill was 65mph.  This was off the speedo.  Although, I weigh 235 lbs. maybe a lighter rider can achieve more. The scooter definitely feels restricted.  Overall, the 13.5 hp makes acceleration to 50 mph quick.  I am quite impressed.
